I've just finished reading Neuromancer the cyberpunk novel by William Gibson, and think it ties in to my project fairly well, where the characters are able to transfer their 'information' into the Matrix and vise versa. They are also able to use this technology to damage and mutate, like Case was damaged so he could no longer enter the Matrix. This links with the photograph of the arm with the genome for a tumour written on it, posing the question whether or not this creates a tumour.
