After the discussion with Caroline I think that exploring the relation between human genome codes and binary is much more interesting than doppelgangers. With this is mind I took the EGFR growth factor receptor in chromosome seven and found the genomic code. I then wrote this onto my leg and photographed, in order to pose the question of by writing this coding in the way binary is written for a computer to follow, will my leg begin to grow? In effect portraying the similarities between human beings and technology, referring back to Katherine N. Hayles and the notion that we are simply information in a body, as technology is information within a different body.
