After a little brainstorm on doppelgangers not forgetting the research I have looked at already, I can conclude that social networks like facebook, twitter, blogs etc are in effect alter egos and doppelgangers. Im also really interested all the work done with projections and it reminded me of a piece of work I created before. The quality of the photographs are pretty bad, however the piece was almost like a hologram effect, appearing 3D, I painted two hands which I then scanned and printed out onto multiple layers of acetate which were then stacked a few centimetres apart to create this effect. I think it may be an idea to take the doppelgangers from each social network site (in the form of profile pictures, avatars etc) and layer them up in order to create something similar.
